和一个美国老太太聊天，她来南开大学学中文，虽然已经58岁

但那爽朗的笑声与活力远远超过了她的年龄

她喜欢喝咖啡，每天早晨两大杯，加奶泡，两包糖，今早也如此

（刚才去给她拿了一些冰块）

我问她有小孩子么

______NO MARRIED,NO CHRILDREN

一个人就没有感到孤独，而且她说有好多的事情要去做

所以关于婚姻与感情

她没有很多的力量

这也是一种女人的生活，在暮年仍旧跑到中国来学中文

追求自己的内心

哪怕自己随时会离开这个世界

因为在很认真的生活

美国老太走了的，青春的话语牢牢印在脑海

但愿我老后也如这般的单纯

—-就是关于Jeanie,一个典型的金庸笔下的老顽童形象，头发也是花白，脸上也是皱纹

但仍旧是无所顾忌的大笑，是爽朗的不怕任何皱纹的大笑，

后来又来过几次的，第二次是初秋带着她在南开的学中文的同学，还有一个学哲学的小姑娘，来到团圆之后以就是坐在后院，几瓶啤酒，太阳伞下小坐，依旧是不变的抽烟姿势，和我大笑的拥抱“datong,,my coffee man hahaha ”那次是周末，Jeanie去三里屯酒吧疯了一夜，她告诉我青春和年龄无关的。第二天去silk market 买了许多的衣服回来，还贷一件小礼物–小铁皮坦克，上弦后可以跑的。曾问过我喜欢什么，回答是汽车模型，那是自己15年前的最爱。

第三次来的时候在初冬，真地从天津带来了两个汽车模型，见面之后就突然从背后拿出来，我都不知道说什么了，就是想立马给他做两杯她最爱的coffee.

第四次来的时候，一是寒冬腊月，她要动身去桂林海南休寒假了。Jeanie说这里是她家，走之前要来告别。那夜我们一起吃火锅，Jeanie 还是一瓶加冰的燕京啤酒，坐在我的旁边，已经开始用可以分辨的清汉语说话了，饭间闹了不少的笑话，因为那汉语的阴阳顿挫。喝到高潮，酒没了，这老太又开一瓶，加冰。

就如此。

走的那天早晨，Jeanie说：下次回来 我用普通话告诉你们在桂林海南的故事。

期待下一次的再相遇。和这个美国老太。

The Gubeikou Great Wall （古北口长城） is one section Great Wall surrounding Beijing, which is not open for tourists, but famous for backpackers who love hiking. I have been there not the first time, and every time, I find I love it more while I keep in touch with it more deeply, it is original and unique.  Of course, go camping on the Great Wall is best choice to know it!

In this gallery, there are some photos that I took last month while it first snowed on the Gubeikou Great Wall. With these pictures, we have a chance to get to know them, ask questions of them. Their version of beauty and power won`t change with time.

The Tiananmen Square lies at the heart of downtown Beijing, cross-section between the central axis of Beijing. Its original name is Chengtian Gate which was first built in Ming Dynasty (1417). It was twice destroyed, once by lightening, once by war. In Qing Dynasty (1651), it was rebuilt on a large scale and changed its name to Tiananmen.  Imposing and magnificent, it stands out among ancient city gates in China.

Tiananmen Square was measured about 880 meters long and 500 meters wide, 440,000 square meters. To its east is the National Museum; to its west, the Great Hall of the People. In the middle of it stands the Monument to People’s Heroes, to the south of which is Chairman Mao’s Memorial Hall. The national flag ceremony is held in the square every day stirs strong patriotic feelings in the bosom of everyone.  The flag-rising time goes with sun rising time, which is different everyday, you can check out  flag rising time.

Either Chinese or foreigners, Tiananmeng Square is definitely an attractive site.  It is quite easy from Beijing Box Hostel to take bus 22, 808 bus station guide about 4 stops to Tiananmeng Square. By the way, it is free entry.

We spent a few days taking some pictures nearby hostel, got some nice to publish, which can help you easily find where Beijing Box Hostel is.

Generally speaking, there are 3 ways leading to box hostel: Baitasi Bus Sation, Xisibei Bus Station, Fuchengmeng Metro Station.

From Baitasi Station(Bus:823,102,103)

(2) Towards west,you will see Zhaodengyu Road

(3) Turn right, 2 min later, you will arrive the entrance of Xi Si Bei 2 Tiao Hutong

(4) Go ahead about 100 metres, Chinesebox just at your right side

From Fuchengmeng Metro

(2)  Turn left, 3 min later, you will pass by White Dagoba Temple (Baita Si Temple)

(4) Turn left,2 min later, you will arrive the entrance of Xi Si Bei 2 Tiao Hutong

(5)  Go ahead about 100 metres, Chinesebox just at your right side

一个下午的光阴，很短，

可是现在却有很多美好的词句，层层叠叠地冲刷在脑海，我要快一点追上它们，否则，它们就跑了！这种美好的感觉和味道，就跑了。。。。。。

团园，一个小小的四合院行者客栈，很好记，很上口的名字，团圆——团源——团缘。。。。。。宛若庞大城市巨兽身上，悄然隐匿的一块细巧却敏感，朴素却特别，亲切却坚持，周到却简单，活跃却平和。。。。。。的鳞片——和这个城市血脉相连，却能够保持自由舒展，而且每一道纹路和痕迹都印照着这个城市的成长和积淀。

是的，有积淀的人，才能把繁复点化为简单，团园的主人们，做到了！

几间小屋，柔软雪白的被单，院子里几张实木的板凳，一棵向阳生长的柿子树，无论白天黑夜，都泛着温暖的橘黄色灯光的门厅，慵懒的沙发，还有沙发上更加慵懒的睡着冬觉的猫咪们。。。。。。不可能的元素，组合出意想不到的效果，空气里充满了松弛，自由的味道，不由自主脱掉的外衣，也让走进来的我，瞬息间，脱掉了心里另外一些什么。

感觉浮躁虚荣的忙碌，让自己过了一个世纪那么长，外面的生活离自己忽然很远，走进来就好像钻进螺壳里的寄居蟹，忽然就很想停下脚步，坐在这个沙发上，挥霍它一个四季轮回，任性他一个沧海桑田！

火车可以退票，机票可以改签，但命运却没有为我们设计Ctrl-Z这个键。

其实这也正是生命真正的魅力所在吧，我们忙碌，我们辛劳，我们争取，我们选择，我们改变。。。。。。未尝不是在轮回里和自己玩一个游戏，好像小白鼠在笼子里徒劳的转动轮子，最终的结果，不过是起点回到终点。

所有的纠结，来自于我们对于过程的不甘！总觉得可以更好，更好，用一点点的成就和获得，鼓励自己，欺骗自己继续向前。忘了谁说的：快乐就只有那么一点点，却骗我们辛苦生活了一生。

这一点点的快乐，在09年开年第二天的一个晴冷下午，在北京一条叫“西四北二条”的窄窄小胡同里，在这个来往着各个国家和地区不同职业和背景的人们的小客栈里，与我悄然偶遇！没有期待过，所以更加值得惊喜！

不知道为什么，说不出所以然，就是喜欢了，就是快乐了，没有身处其中，无法用文字形容！

各位看官看到此处一定觉得脚丫“找打”，官子卖了一箩筐，最后谜底揭晓的时刻承认自己辞穷！！！

其实不然。。。。。。

这就对了，真的喜欢什么，是不需要解释的，不需要形容的，不需要堆砌辞藻的，也不需要向任何人言说的！

Ali is a very nice girl who can play cooooooooooool Guitar, dislike taking shoes even if it was a bit cold in Beijing.  We drunk together, made dumpling together, so funny days!!!

I am publishing this article so that more travelers know Chinese Box Hostel more.

I just thought I should tell everyone about this awesome hostel I found in Beijing, Just booked it on a wim thru Hostelworld.com as it was one of the cheapest, and totally landed on my feet!
Considering they’ve only been open 3 months they’ve got some of the best ratings on Hostelworld I have seen. And rightly so. The staff absolutely make this place. Leoson, Dadong, Shinzan and everyone else that works there are awesome. I miss them all terribly! They are all travellers themselves, so that know what makes a good hostel.
Chinese Box is located on one of the Hutongs, so its in a nice quiet location and yet right next to bus stops and metro stations, and not far to walk to things like Tiananmen Sq and Forbidden City.
They serve food, rent bicycles, can help you organise trips and train tickets. They will teach you how to make Jiaozi or take you for a walk or cycle ride around town. The hostel is clean with excellent facilities, including use of a hair dryer and ironing board!
I never stayed in such a nice place in any country in the world. I absolutely loved it. These guys deserve to do well, so please go and stay there and tell them that Ali from England says Hi!
