Someone had the courtesy of occasionally making a path to the sides of the steps, which made the climb easier. I am looking for a certain view that I thought was at Gubeikou, but I think I was mistaken. I have an old photograph of the view that I want to replicate. Since it seems that you are more familiar with the Great Wall, perhaps you can help me. I can email you the image if you are interested.
